Laziness...

I know I haven't updated this in a while but nothing drastic has really happened. It's just been the same routine every week. Sport, prep school and filing. So on a day-to-day basis... Nothing new.

Since the 18/Jan... Lets See:

Gappers Conference - All the Stuff you need to know as a staff member and as a gapper. was an interesting course but almost all of it was covered by the school in the first two/three days we were here. Was a good day all-in-all though. Went to London and missed my boring day of the timetable.

Exeact Weekend - One weekend every half term where the students have to go home (or somewhere at least). Friday night I had Chinese with the guys, Saturday did lots of things (cooking, cleaning, washing, running, netball stuff, emailing, online shopping (oops :)) and other stuff), then Sunday morning I went to London again for the Church (Australia Day Celebrations). Apparently every gapper that has ever been to England has gone. Well, I can say I have been, and will happily never go again...

Australia Day!!! - Was at the prep in the morning which was so much fun because the Year 3 class I help out with are doing Flat Stanley at the moment (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Stanley) and they sent all their own letters around the world, and their letter back that week was actually from Australia so it coincided and we had lots of fun talking about Australia. I gave them all a little clip on koala each and one little boy came up to me afterwards (he is usually very naughty and doesn't do work and is rude etc...) and said "Thank you Miss Lee, I am going to sleep with it every night!" NAWWWWW!!!!!!! He has been so good every time I go into the class and does all his work while I'm there and get his gold stars. (I could go on forever about this class but I will stop there.)
