Catch Up...

Friday
Well I was going to go into London by myself today but was offered to tag along to go see the Houses of Parliament with Anthony and a few of his Aussie friends who were visiting. I took the opportunity up and was lead in the tunnels of London once again. Come out of the tube right underneath Big Ben! Yesterday when I saw it form afar, I actually didn't think it was all that spectacular, but up close it was gorgeous. It has gold plating all around the top and the detail all over the House of Parliament is spectacular. Two buildings, in two days, that have blown me away, who would have thought.

Unfortunately it was closed so we couldn't go in, so had lunch and headed for the British Museum. It was so cool seeing the this place and and knowing where I was I was. Got to see dead bodies and mummies and the Rosetta Stone and tombs and lots of Ancient Egyptian stuff. Was all very cool!

We then headed across to Clapham Junction which was a million miles away to have a pub dinner. Was really good! and great service too! The Draft Horse if anyone ever gets the chance. Very good!
Anthony got me home safely as I was very close to falling asleep again (damn you Jet Lag). And it was just as I got home that I realised that I had my camera on me the whole day and not once did I take a photo, until this: Just for Gabrielle.
