I'm Sorry...

So I am here to apologise for the absolute lack of postings that I have made to this page in the two months. I can not believe how much I have deprived you all of my postings.. Well actually I can believe it. As I said from the beginning, I have never been able to keep a diary, or anything like that, so I am trying to break barriers here really. :)

So from where I left off... Handford Charity Week.
So Monday was the cake sale and although it didn't go off with a bang, there were plenty of cupcakes for me to eat later :)
Zumba was a hit, but we lost our instructor and another was organised on the day, so people in the school weren't sure if it was still going ahead. The instructor - Natalie - was so nice and has got a few more gigs with the school over the next term.

Tuesday was Speed Dating.. WAIT! Sorry - 'Speed Aquaintancing'. It was a night for VI Form Kids to rotate amongst each other and find out their 'true love'. There were 30 guys and 30 girls who moved around the places asking question to find out about one another. Father Richard even came down to say hello, bringing along with him, the Archbishop. Well that was a surprise to start with - and then... he joined in. Was a hilarious night, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves quite a lot - even the Archbishop.
Was a rather successful week and the girls (although stressed) had a fantabulous time organising it and coming up with the events :)

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.... all the same, nothing interesting...

The next exciting thing to happen, was Exeat Weekend. A weekend for all the students to go home and leave us Staff alone :)
Well not quite, I decided it was appropriate to say yes in volunteering myself for the Duke of Ed Practice Expedition (which was a 5 minute walk down the hill to the campsite). So I went down on the Friday night after Prep School and helped with getting dinner for everyone and sat around the campfire talking to students :) Wasn't feeling 100% so I went back up to the house each night so as not to get myself anymore sick with the cold. On the Saturday I woke up late and pottered around not doing too much. That afternoon I saw the kids get back and sat around the campfire again. On the Sunday I woke to see the students set off on their final day and once again, did a whole lot of nothing :) Boarders came back in the afternoon and that was the extent of my exciting Exeact Weekend :)

The New Week
Well Handford Charity events were all over, Exeact had come.. and gone, and there was only a week until our House Play. Yes, only a week and not a whole lot had been done about that. So rehearsal's start intensely every night for 1 1/2 hrs in total. Oh, What Bedlam the week was. A whole lot of nothing was happening. When we got into the theatre later in the week they realised, they actually had to put in the hard yards. So finally our story was coming out. Monday's tech rehearsal was very tense but by the end of that, we had a show.So when Monday night comes around - HANDFORD PRESENTS CINDERELLA!! Although it was an... interesting performance, the girls enjoyed themselves on stage and had quite a few laughs.

Was pretty quiet finishing the term, nothing to even accoutn for. Even the start of the holidays, nothing happened. Watched movies, read books, watched a few more movies, went for a run, ate, watched some more movies, celaned my room, ate again, watched more movies..... etc etc, slept, woke up ate and watched a movie.

Finally Saturday Came...  and I was off to Scotland!! :) :)
