Here At Long Last...

This post will be a bit funny because I wrote it at different times and different places but had no internet connection so I couldn't actually post it. So here it is all at once.

Got to Sydney Airport saw the Llewelyns, said a quick goodbye to family, got told a customs I look a bit dodgy (jokingly) and set of on my first lonesome journey.

All was good at the start of the first flight, had a lovely chat tot he guy next to  me (who looked like the guy off TV who tries to make food more inventive in weird places like Cinemas and Airplanes) and then the babies in the seats in front of us started crying. Four hours!!! They finally became quiet but I became restless. And then we dropped a few hundred feet.
Awesome. After only maybe two hours of calmness me, the babies started crying again. For the whole last hour I wanted to hit them with the diary that was in my hand and them them that I'm tired too!!! But that would be stupid now wouldn't it.
Descending took forever and was very bumpy but the landing was sooo smooth (best yet I would say).

In Singapore airport I went to the bar. Hopefully that would put me to sleep on the next flight. Although 28 degrees Celcius at 10:00pm is so not cool! I think England is going to be a bigger shock now, more so than from Aussie whether.
Flight started boarding an hour late than originally told, take off was good. After about 30 minutes we hit a very turbulent spot and dropped again. My confidence in planes and getting to my destination was feeling somewhat smaller. But I tried to go to sleep and when I woke, felt I had a reasonable sleep, when I look at the time and it's only been two hours... Oh dear. Fell asleep again, but once again, two hours. It was now that I really needed to sleep as it's night time in UK but no. I sit here typing this up so that when I get WiFi I won't forget. There is now five hours and 42 minutes and I have no intention of sleeping anymore. About an hour ago I looked at the travel path and the line must had just dropped halfway down the earth! Must have been a big drop earlier -

Thought I could hold off on a 14 hour flight without going to the ladies. No, that didn't happen, but I had a bit of a giggle in the toilet. Bit ironic but right next to the NO SMOKING sign was a pull-down ash tray. Hehe

.xx
